At MySteel you can find straight corten steel stairs with various sizes. You can choose the number of steps: 2, 3, 4 or 5. Then you can determine the width sizes yourself, which range from 80 cm to 120 cm. In all cases, the material thickness of the steps is 2 mm and the stringer has a thickness of 3 mm. Corten steel staircases: unique look

Are you a fan of an industrial, robust look and feel? Then go for a Corten steel outdoor staircase. This material has a typical brown-orange rust color: a color that develops naturally over time. Corten steel has the unique property of forming a very dense oxide skin (rust layer). The dense oxide skin shields the deeper-lying material from oxygen, greatly slowing oxidation while corrosion continues. The layer ensures that rusting through is impossible. The corten steel staircase is delivered unrusted. Upon purchase, you will receive a gray, metallic-colored staircase that will develop its distinctive brown-orange rust color within two to six months. This happens automatically, no treatment is required.

Installing the Corten steel stairs in your garden

You can place the Corten steel stairs in your garden yourself. The Corten steel stairs are delivered as a kit. With the manual you can easily do it yourself. In the kit you will find the loose steps and the stringer on which the steps are mounted. Of course you will also receive the bolts and nuts needed to assemble the Corten steel stairs. Then you can easily attach the stairs at the top and bottom in the desired location. At the bottom of the stairs, no further support of sand, wood or stones, for example, is needed. The staircase itself is strong enough to support a lot of weight. However, always make sure that you place the stairs level, so that you get a safe and stable construction.
