What is a pyramid planter?
The pyramid planter is a round planter made of Corten steel in cone shape, that is, a round inverted pyramid shape. This planter is aesthetically high-quality finished in our own production. This pyramid planter fits into a modern or classic garden and also fits well with square or rectangular planters, for example.
What type of material is used?
These pyramid planters are manufactured from high-quality Corten-A steel plate. Corten steel is a metal alloy consisting of iron to which copper, phosphorus, silicon, nickel and chromium have been added. This type of metal has the unique property of forming a very dense oxide skin (rust layer). This makes rusting through impossible. Because of the dense oxide skin, the deeper underlying material is shielded from oxygen, thus oxidation is greatly delayed, while corrosion continues.
The Corten steel pyramid planter does not come with the rust look, but in a gray metallic color. Don't worry, you haven't received the wrong item. In fact, the rusting occurs very quickly. If you put the planter outside, moisture and/or rain will cause the characteristic brown/orange rust layer to appear after only two to six months. No special treatment is needed for this. Please note that the planter may shed during the rusting process. The Corten steel planter is produced in-house by our own craftsmen.
