Shipping

1.1 How is my product shipped?
At MySteel, every order is carefully packed to prevent damage during transport.
By default, your product is delivered as a parcel. When the total number of parcels or the size of the product requires it, the order may be delivered on a pallet.

• Parcel shipments are sent via DPD. You will receive an email from DDP with a track & trace link.
• Pallet shipments within the Netherlands and Belgium are sent via Micodo.
• Pallet shipments to other countries are sent via Dachser. You will receive an SMS from these carriers with the delivery time window.

1.2 What are the delivery days?

• DPD (parcels): delivers from Monday to Saturday.
• Micodo and Dachser (pallets): deliver from Monday to Friday.

1.3 What time will my parcel or pallet be delivered?

• Parcels from DPD are delivered between 08:00 and 18:00.
• Pallet shipments via Micodo or Dachser are delivered between 08:00 and 17:00.

What is the delivery time of my product?
Want to know when your product will arrive?

  1. Go to the product of your choice in the webshop.

  2. The delivery time is displayed directly underneath the price on the product page.

1.4 Can I track my parcel or pallet?
Yes, absolutely!

• Parcels are shipped via DPD and can be tracked through a track & trace link in the DPD email.
• Pallet shipments are shipped by Micodo or Dachser. You will receive advance notification of this as well.

DPD (parcels)

• As soon as your ordered product has been packed by MySteel and has left our production space, you will receive an email from DPD with the shipping confirmation and track & trace link.
• Through this link, you can see the expected delivery date and time.
• DPD will also notify you by email one to two days before delivery with an estimated delivery time.
• On the morning of delivery, DPD sends another email with a one-hour time slot during which your parcel will be delivered.
• Upon delivery, the driver will ask for a signature as proof of receipt.
• On Friday evening, DPD provides information regarding the delivery taking place on Monday.
• DPD parcels may be shipped in multiple packages.

Micodo (pallet shipments)

• As soon as your ordered product has been packed and placed on a pallet by MySteel, you will receive an email from MySteel with the shipping confirmation.
• The Micodo driver will call you approximately half an hour before arrival to inform you that they are nearly there.

Delivery:

  • In most cases, Micodo handles the shipment of the pallet itself;
  • In certain situations, Micodo hands the shipment over to a delivery partner;
  • In those cases, the pallet is usually delivered one day later than usual.

• Upon delivery, the driver will ask for a signature as proof of receipt.

Dachser (pallet shipments to other countries)

• As soon as your product has been packed on a pallet and has left the production space, you will receive an email from MySteel confirming dispatch.
• The Dachser driver will then carry out the delivery.

1.5 Shipping costs

• Netherlands/Belgium: orders with a value above €500,- are shipped free of charge.
• For other orders, the shipping costs depend on the product category.
• You only pay shipping costs once per order, regardless of the number of products.

Frequently asked questions about shipping

2.1 Has my order already been shipped?

• If your product was shipped as a parcel, you will receive an email from DPD confirming that your parcel has been dispatched. This email also contains the track & trace link.
The subject of this email is: “Your order has been shipped”.
• If your product was shipped as a pallet, you will receive a confirmation email from MySteel.
The subject of this email is: “Your order has been shipped”.

These emails do not constitute legally binding guarantees. Actual delivery dates depend on seasonal busyness and the carriers DPD, Micodo and Dachser. Naturally, we do everything we can to deliver your order as quickly as possible.

2.2 I have not (yet) received a track & trace email. What can I do?
If you haven’t received a track & trace email after dispatch, feel free to contact our customer service. We will gladly check the status of your order.

The track & trace is not working. What can I do?
If the track & trace link is not functioning or shows no information, contact the customer service of the relevant carrier:

• DPD
• Micodo
• Dachser

They can check the shipment status in their system.

2.3 What happens to my parcel or pallet if I am not at home?

Parcels (DPD)

• If you are not home during delivery, have not given permission for drop-off, and neighbours cannot accept the parcel,
DPD will take the parcel to the nearest DPD Pick-up Parcelshop.
• On the missed-delivery notice left by the driver, it states where and from when the parcel can be collected.

Pallet shipments (Micodo/Dachser)

• If your product is shipped on a pallet, the driver will call you to indicate that the pallet will be placed near the residence, in the garden or on the pavement.
• Micodo and Dachser are authorised to place the pallet this way.

2.4 The track & trace says my parcel was delivered but I have not received anything. What now?
We are very sorry if you have not received your product even though the track & trace indicates that it has been delivered.
Please contact us as soon as possible. We will start an investigation with DPD to locate your parcel and resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
