This ground stake is for putting the low border border edge (22cm to 25cm height) into the ground. We recommend to use 1 ground stake per 1 meter of border edge. You can fix the ground stake with self-tappers. These can also be ordered from us.
Material This ground spike is manufactured from high-quality Corten-A steel plate. This type of metal has the unique property of forming a very dense oxide skin (rust layer). Rusting is therefore impossible. Because of the dense oxide skin, the deeper lying material is protected from oxygen, which slows down the oxidation considerably while the corrosion continues. The ground stake is delivered unrusted, in the gray metal color. The start of the rusting process begins within the first 2 months, no treatment is required. During the rusting process, the border edge may peel off. Corten steel is a metal alloy composed of iron with copper, phosphorus, silicon, nickel and chromium added.
