The Corten steel wood storage is delivered untreated, in the grey metallic colour. The brown/orange rust layer forms within a few weeks to months and does not require any treatment. During the rusting process, the wood storage can shed. Corten steel is a metal alloy consisting of iron with copper, phosphorus, silicon, nickel and chromium added.
