This mailbox has a front insert. At the back is the mail removal door, which is equipped with a lock. There are standard 2 keys supplied with this mailbox. The house numbers and letters can be ordered separately. These are available separately. The house numbers can be stuck in the desired location. The mailbox is easy to assemble by the included manual.
Material This mailbox is made of high quality Corten-A steel plate. This type of metal has the unique property of forming a very dense oxide skin (rust layer). Rusting through is impossible. Because of the dense oxide skin, the deeper lying material is shielded from oxygen, which slows down oxidation considerably while corrosion continues. The Corten steel mailbox is delivered unrusted, in the gray metallic color. The brown / orange rust layer forms within a few weeks to months, no treatment is required. During the rusting process, the planter may peel off. Corten steel is a metal alloy composed of iron and to this are added copper, phosphorus, silicon, nickel and chromium.
