The water ornament comes complete with accompanying pump with cord. The pump inside the container causes the water to be pumped up. The water will then run over the inner plate, only to fall back into the bowl. You will need to change the water with a Corten steel water ornament for the first few months, until the rusting is complete. In the event of frost, the pump should be turned off. As an additional option, you can choose LED lighting.

Material

The water ornament is manufactured from high-quality Corten-A steel plate. This type of metal has the unique property that it forms a very dense oxide skin (rust layer). Rusting through is impossible. Due to the dense oxide skin, the deeper lying material is shielded from oxygen, which slows down the oxidation considerably while the corrosion continues. The water ornament is delivered untreated, in gray metal color. The brown / orange rust layer forms within a few weeks to months, no treatment is required. During the rusting process, the water ornament may peel off. Corten steel is a metal alloy consisting of iron to which copper, phosphorus, silicon, nickel and chromium are added.

The inner plate is made of aluminum and then powder coated in RAL color 9005.

Please unpack the order immediately upon receipt to avoid unwanted moisture stains.
