The corten steel staircase is composed of steps of 17 cm height each. The steps are easy to assemble using the included assembly instructions.
Material These stairs are manufactured from high-quality Corten-A steel plate. This type of metal has the unique property of forming a very dense oxide skin (rust layer). Rusting through is therefore impossible. Due to the dense oxide layer, the deeper lying material is protected from oxygen, which slows down the oxidation process while the corrosion continues. The Corten steel staircase is delivered unrusted, in the gray metal color. The start of the rusting process begins in the first 2 months, no treatment is required. During the rusting process, the staircase may shed. Corten steel is a metal alloy composed of iron and to this are added copper, phosphorus, silicon, nickel and chromium.
