Material
This wood storage is manufactured from high quality Corten-A steel plate. This type of metal has the unique property of forming a very dense oxide skin (rust layer). Rusting is therefore impossible. Due to the dense oxide layer, the deeper lying material is protected from oxygen, which slows down the oxidation process while the corrosion continues. The Corten steel wood storage is delivered unrusted, in the gray metallic color. The start of the rusting process begins within the first 2 months, no treatment is required. During the rusting process, the wood storage can shed. Corten steel is a metal alloy composed of iron and to this are added copper, phosphorus, silicon, nickel and chromium.
