The retaining walls are easily blind joined together with the supplied fasteners. It is not necessary to fix the retaining walls to the substrate. Due to the wide bottom edge and pressure from the earth, the retaining wall will remain upright.

Material

The retaining walls are made of high-quality Corten-A steel plate. This type of metal has the unique property of forming a very dense oxide skin (rust layer). This makes rusting through impossible. The dense oxide layer shields the deeper lying material from oxygen, which slows down the oxidation process while the corrosion continues. The retaining walls are delivered without rust, in the gray metal color. The start of the rusting process begins in the first 2 months, no treatment is required. During the rusting process, the retaining walls may shed. Corten steel is a metal alloy composed of iron and to this are added copper, phosphorus, silicon, nickel and chromium.
