What the panel is made of:

This panel is made of high-quality Corten-A steel, a metal alloy composed of iron, copper, phosphorus, silicon, nickel and chromium. The unique characteristic of Corten steel is the formation of a dense oxide skin, which acts as a protective rust layer. This layer prevents rusting through and protects the inner material from further oxidation while the process of corrosion continues slowly.

Note: Delivery in non-rusted condition.

Upon delivery, the panel is in its original gray metallic color, without rusting. Within a period of two to six months a beautiful brown/orange rust layer will form, this is a natural process. When you have the panel outside, various weather influences cause the element to rust. During this rusting process, the panel may give off some rust, which is part of the properties of Corten steel.
