The water table comes complete with accompanying pump with cord. The pump inside the tray causes the water to be pumped up. The water will then run over the inner plate, only to fall back into the tray. You will need to change the water with a corten steel water table for the first few months, until the rusting is complete. In case of frost, the pump should be turned off. As an additional option, you can choose LED lighting.

Material

The water table is manufactured from high-quality Corten-A steel plate. This type of metal has the unique property of forming a very dense oxide skin (rust layer). Rusting through is impossible. Because of the dense oxide layer, the deeper lying material is protected from oxygen, which slows the oxidation down while the corrosion continues. The water table is delivered unrusted, in the gray metal color. The brown/orange rust layer forms within weeks to months, no treatment is required. During the rusting process, the water table may shed. Corten steel is a metal alloy composed of iron and to this are added copper, phosphorus, silicon, nickel and chromium.
