This coupling plate is for coupling the medium side fences (22 and 25 cm height) and thereby creating an angle. This coupling plate can be attached to the edge fence with self-tapping screws. These can also be ordered from us.
Material This coupling plate is made of high-quality Corten-A steel plate. This type of metal has the unique property of forming a very dense oxide skin (rust layer). Rusting through is therefore impossible. The dense oxide layer shields the deeper lying material from oxygen, which slows down the oxidation process while the corrosion continues. The coupling plate is delivered untreated, in the gray metal color. The start of the rusting process begins in the first 2 months, no treatment is required. During the rusting process, the edging may shed. Corten steel is a metal alloy consisting of iron and to this are added copper, phosphorus, silicon, nickel and chromium.
