Description
The retaining walls are easily blind joined together with the supplied fasteners. It is not necessary to fix the retaining walls to the substrate. Due to the wide bottom edge and pressure from the earth, the retaining wall will remain upright.
Material
The retaining walls are made of high quality sendzimir galvanized steel and then powder coated in any RAL color. This is done especially for you, so you will always have a planter of top quality. Powder coating is an electrostatic process in which powder is applied to metal with a spray gun. During the curing process in the oven, the powder particles first become liquid due to the heat. Then viscous and finally cured into a beautiful, durable coating. The steel is first coated with a strong adhesive primer and then finished with a color coating, these 2 layers make the retaining walls extremely UV resistant. The retaining walls fit into any garden and is a real eye-catcher.
Standard we offer the RAL colors white, anthracite and black. Of course it is possible to have the planter powder coated in any other desired RAL color.
Our products are available in different colors. In addition to the standard colors, we also offer special and other RAL colors to fully meet your needs. Placement advice
Place the retaining wall on a flat, stable surface. This ensures that it remains stable and prevents unnecessary pressure on the material. Leave at least 1 cm of clearance around the retaining wall so that it does not come into direct contact with any surrounding elements. This helps prevent moisture from accumulating.
Fill the space behind the retaining wall in the following order:
1. Gravel
Add a layer of approximately 10 cm of gravel behind the retaining wall to allow excess water to drain away more easily.
2. Water-permeable weed-control fabric
Place a water-permeable weed-control fabric over the gravel. Allow the fabric to extend at least 10 cm up along the edges to prevent soil from entering the gravel layer.
3. Soil mixture
Fill the space behind the retaining wall with a loose, water-permeable soil mixture suitable for the planting. Distribute the soil evenly and compact the mixture only lightly. This keeps the soil aerated, allows water to drain properly and limits the pressure on the retaining wall.
Please note: do not use expanded clay pellets. They retain moisture around the steel for longer, which can damage the material over time.
