This house number features spacers, which ensures that the house number is mounted with a small distance away from the wall. The spacers ensure a sleek end result where the house number appears to float. When mounting, you screw the threaded pins supplied into the thread of the spacers and then slide them into a (sealant-filled) drill hole in the wall. After the sealant dries, the house number remains firmly fixed in the wall.
The house number is delivered rust-free, in the grey metallic colour. The brown/orange rust layer forms within a few weeks to months; no treatment is required. During the rusting process, the house number may rub off.
